About
Tokyo After Dark is an independent guide, in English, to going out in this city: clubs, bars, concept cafes (コンカフェ), izakaya, kyabakura and hostess clubs (キャバクラ), and the odd note that does not fit a single room.
Each venue write-up is meant to include the details that are easy to miss if you are not reading Japanese fluently. That means whether there is an English menu, what the cover charge is, what to wear, and whether the door will ask for ID.
The notes come from nights out, not from press releases. This page is a starting point — replace it with the editor’s own story when you are ready. It does not invent a biography.
Nothing here is a paid placement. If a booking or affiliate link is added later, it is labeled on the post and explained on the affiliate disclosure page.
